A17 works in Fleet and Long Sutton postponed again

Resurfacing works on the A17 Washway Road in Fleet Hargate and Long Sutton due to start yesterday evening (Monday) have been postponed for a second time.

The works, originally scheduled for February 26, will now start at Fleet Hargate on Monday, March 19 for three evenings of night-time works under full road closure, 7pm-6am. These works should be complete on Thursday, March 22at 6am, weather permitting.

The A17 Long Sutton resurfacing works will start on Thursday, March 15 until the morning of Saturday, March 31, 7pm-6am, under vehicle convoy.

The first postponement was because of heavy snow and the latest due to ‘current and forecasted inclement weather’.

SUNDAY 2.42PM: Resurfacing works on the A17 Washway Road in Fleet Hargate and Long Sutton, postponed because of bad weather, will now start tomorrow (Monday).

The Fleet Hargate works, originally scheduled for February 26, will take place from 6pm to 6am on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night.

The works on the A17 at Long Sutton, will take place Thursday and Friday night, 6pm to 6am, under vehicle convoy.
