A Country Kitchen Ltd in move to Spalding
Spalding will have a new hot and cold food outlet when A Country Kitchen Ltd opens at the Wok Aroma Noodle Bar.
Founded a decade ago by Kelly Newman and her late mum, Cheryl Chapman, the business began life in Donington before switching to Holbeach Technology Park.
When it moves to Holland Market in October, the business will continue making dinners for five primary schools as well as100 meals on wheels each day.
It will also bring a wide, over the counter offering with home-made hot and cold meals, roast dinners with a choice of vegetables, spicy chicken wings, ploughman’s lunches, quiches, salads, sandwiches, and more.
Kelly said: “We have a fantastic reputation and we want to build on that.
“We used to have a sandwich bar when we opened in Donington and we are sort of going back to that now.”
There will be family packages, such as lasagne treats with side dishes, to take home and A Country Kitchen’s home-made answer to ready meals.
Kelly said: “We will prepare meals that people can take away and heat up when they get home, rather than having to buy the ones from the supermarkets that are full of additives and salt.”
Wok Aroma was run by former Spalding United manager Pat Rayment but it closed many months ago.
