Spalding town centre pubs closed for tonight

A number of Spalding pubs have not opened up this evening.

Signs have been posted outside The Red Lion Hotel stating that the Market Place pub will be closed until Monday to due maintenance work.

While another sign has been posted at the entrance of The Pied Calf which says that it is closed due to having 'no toilet facilities'.

Earlier this evening, at around 7.30pm, when we walked around the town, the doors were shut on a number of other pubs and restaurants including The Prior's Oven, Punchbowl, Lincoln Arms, The Moorings, and Sergi's restaurant.

Bentley's Bar, The Ivy Wall, Oscars, Prezzo and Amici were open.

Police had put out an appeal recently asking pubs to remain open this evening.
