South Holland to get multi-million reservoir the size of Grafham Water

South Holland is in line for a massive tourism boost with an £800million to £1billion reservoir the size of Grafham Water built here within 10 years.

Potential sites mentioned are south west of Spalding - between the town and Market Deeping - and "somewhere broadly in the region of Holbeach".

Water management linked to the project could trigger a further tourism boost, progressing the Boston to Peterborough Wetland Project, formerly known as Fenland Waterways Link, a more direct inland navigable route between town and city.
