HOLBEACH Parent and Toddler Group has just celebrated its 15th birthday party – in typical fashion.
About 20 young tots and their parents met for games of pass the parcel, jumping about on a bouncy castle, as well as sweet treats and everything else that a youngster would want from a party.
The 15th anniversary has coincided with new T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts for the newly appointed chairman Rachael Prynne, secretary Paula Adaway and treasurer Emma Hibbins.
Rachael explained that money for the new uniforms had come from money saved from having to close the toddler group on a Wednesday because of low numbers.
She added: “We are short of numbers at the moment, and probably the weather isn’t helping, but we would like to get more people coming along because the kids like it. My own daughter, India Munson, absolutely loves it and has made plenty of friends from it.”
Two-year-old India and her mum meet friends at the Reading Rooms next to the library every Monday and Thursday (from 9.30am to 11am) and everyone is invited to come along.
