WEEKEND WEB: Putting the bounce into exercise classes

We look back at the Spalding Guardian this week 50 years ago.

Trampoline clases were included in Spalding’s Gleed School evening institute for three or four years prior to 1967 and became increasingly popular.

The natural grace and easy movement on the trampoline may have been deceptive - but it required no particular apitude for exercise. However, Jane Harness was sitting on air!
