WEEKEND WEB: Generous gift from pupils’ dad in 2001

We look back to the Spalding Guardian this week in 2001.

A generous parent donated a gift to his children’s school.

Johnny Williams gave a combined television and video cassette recorder to Long Sutton Primary School because he thought the school would get a lot of use out of it.

“I have a connection with the school as my children Andi and Thierry go there,” he said.
