New leaders for Spalding walking group
Spalding Walking for Health has got two new walk leaders.
Terry and Shirley Day joined the group just after last summer to get fitter and to gain a better wellbeing.
After a short while they were both asked if they would like to become walk leaders and given relevant training.
Spalding Walking for Health Meet every Monday morning at 10.30am at the South Holland Centre, leaving in two groups at 10.45am.
The short walk group go for different walks around Spalding at a leisurely pace, returning at approximately 11.30am, while the long walk group go for longer walks at a faster pace, returning again at noon.
After each walk there are teas and coffees available and once per month an out of town walk is arranged. There is no charge.
