BLUR guitarist Graham Coxon, reggae legends Toots and the Maytals and boy band favourites McFly are just three of the acts lined-up for this year’s Summer Sundae festival at De Montfort Hall and Gardens, Leicester.

The three-day musical extravaganza, held over the weekend of August 12, 13 and 14 is the closest of the major summer festivals to Lincolnshire.

In addition to three outdoor music stages and an indoor stage, there is also a comedy tent, featuring Live at the Apollo star Jon Richardson, Rob Rouse and Gary Delaney.

The family-friendly festival, will include a KidZone area packed with activities for children such as Punch and Judy shows, treasure hunts and arts and crafts.

Other musical acts booked include Newton Faulkner, Everything Everything, the Mercury Music Prize nominated I Am Kloot, The Jim Jones Revue and The Macabees.
