Almost 200 summer activities up for grabs for children in South Holland




South Holland District Council is promoting a summer full of activities for youngsters, with the school holidays set to begin.

The Summer Fun Digital Brochure has been released, and is full of almost 200 pastimes for children to take part in.

These include the likes of library reading challenges, Scalextric racing in Weston Hills, owl flying demonstrations and Tae Kwon-Do.

Meanwhile, other activities will include dancing, gymnastics, music and swimming.

The first events have already kicked off this week.

Some are free to take part in, while others will require a service charge.

The programme lasts for seven weeks.
