STAINED glass and Shamanism will be combining for an exciting new workshop taking place in Spalding on Saturday and Sunday.

Stained glass artist Gillian Wing of Strawberry Glass and Shamanic healer, trainer and crafter Taz Thornton will lead Singing The Rainbow – a two day non-residential workshop offering participants the chance to step further into their personal power through creativity and meditative work.

During the two days attendees will be given the chance to discover the world of Shamanism – an ancient spiritual belief common to indigenous cultures across the globe – and create a beautiful stained glass ornament to take away to help them on their personal journey.

As a circle, workshop participants will support and encourage each other as they meditate, begin to work with universal energies and the energies of their chakras to discover ‘power songs’, helping unlock personal truths and the magic of their voices.

Gillian Wing will offer expert tuition in stained glass making, showing participants how to create a stunning piece for them to take home. This creative part of the day will take in colour energies and artistic expression, giving each participant a powerful medicine object to work with in their own time.

Taz Thornton explains “This workshop is open to all, no matter what level of singing ability you believe you have. If you have a heart, a mouth and the ability to make a noise, you already have all that is needed for Singing The Rainbow.”

The event takes place at Unique Cottage Studios, Fulney Lane South, Spalding and runs from 10am to 5pm each day. Tea and coffee will be provided but participants are asked to bring a packed lunch.
