Family and friends have gathered to celebrate the diamond wedding anniversary of a Spalding couple.
Michael Richard Holmes and Pricilla May (nee Lockley) have been married for 60 years – they are pictured left cutting their wedding cake after their marriage in Lancashire in 1956.
Michael was born in Victoria Street in Spalding to parents Richard and Hazel Holmes, and worked as a policeman in Lancashire and Spalding, where he also spent time as a lay preacher.
The couple lived in the north before moving back to Spalding in 1968 with their six children.
They lived in Park Road in the town, a police house in Pinchbeck, and now live in Carrington Road, Spalding.
They have sons Malcolm, Stephen, David, Colin and Peter and daughter Jackie.
Their extended family includes ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Raffle prizes in lieu of gifts raised £201.50 for Help the Aged.
