Riverbank Studios in Spalding is where John Gray and Helen Webber have produced their paintings for the past 30 years.

They need the space to work in as both have exhibited at various galleries over the years as well as displaying work at their own studios.

To support the studio they have also taught art classes there and elsewhere – they have recently handed over a Life class to another teacher, Gosberton artist Paul Crewe.

They are hoping to retire in a couple of years or so, but will continue to paint, John working mostly in oils – something he used for his major Edinburgh series of paintings – and Helen in oils, acrylic and watercolour, but mostly acrylic.

Both were part of Art on the Map, which is now an exhibiting group.
