NOSTALGIA: Quadring pupils formed a walking bus back in 2009

Children at Quadring Primary School took part in a national road safety initiative by forming a walking bus ten years ago.

More than 100 pupils, staff, governors and two Police Community Support Officers were involved in the BRAKE scheme designed to raise awareness and encourage motorists to slow down near schools.

Head teacher Nicola Wilson said that the idea was also to encourage walking and healthy travelling to school.
