Head teacher Barrie Jefferson retires from Pinchbeck East Primary

Pinchbeck East Primary School said farewell to its headteacher.

Barrie Jefferson, who had been head at the school for 14 years, retired when the school broke up for Christmas.

His successor Cheryl Baumber was set to take over at the start of the summer term, while Mark Pinder was covering the spring term as acting head.

Mr Jefferson described his years at the school as 'exhilarating'. He said his highlight of his time at the school was the introduction of the school uniform.
