Schools in Holbeach St Marks and Spalding back in 1995




Studies on Christian places of worship came to life for pupils at Holbeach St Marks Primary School when they were visited by the Bishop of Lincoln, the Rt Rev Dr John Saxbee.

Bishop John answered a series of questions on the role of the church and his job within the Lincolnshire church community.

Spalding students went to the polls back in 2010 to voice their own opinions on how the country should be led.

Despite being too young to vote in the General Election, youngsters from Gleed Boys’ School and Gleed Girls’ Technology College still had their very own mock election.

Reflecting the South Holland & the Deepings result, the Conservatives won.

A Spalding school was on the road to eco-status after its green-minded pupils picked up another award back in 2010.

Monkshouse Primary School had pushed its bronze award up to silver less than a year after joining the Eco-Schools Scheme.
