Make an Easter tree with Flowers 'n' Things in Spalding

By Spalding Today Columnist

This month, the team at Flowers 'n' Things in Red Lion Street, Spalding, show us how to make an Easter tree:

April is one of our favourite months here at Flowers ‘N’ Things – the fields are filling up with lambs,

the first flowers of spring are blooming, and Easter is not far away!

With that in mind, we’ve decided to show you how you can make a beautiful Easter tree using off cuts from your garden and a few craft supplies.

All you need to make this month’s arrangement is: a plant pot, some twigs, moss, oasis, and your decorations of choice!

The first thing to do is run your oasis under some water, and cut it so it fits snugly in the pot you’ve chosen. Cut your twigs to the desired length, and carefully push them into the oasis so they are nice and secure.

You can arrange your twigs randomly, or be more considered in your approach depending on your personal preference!

Once you’re happy with the placement of your twigs, then all that’s left to do is cover the oasis up with some moss, and decorate the twigs with whatever you fancy!

We’ve chosen some cute little Easter eggs, but you could use anything or even make your own decorations to hang too.

Once you’ve assembled and decorated your Easter tree, all that’s left is to find a nice spot in the house and enjoy!
