The Market House at Long Sutton is to be the latest Macmillan Volunteer Hub to open in Lincolnshire.

Macmillan Cancer Support is gradually opening the volunteer hubs throughout the county.

The hubs provide practical and emotional support for people affected by cancer.

An induction day has been held at the Market House for volunteers, who took part in a number of group activities.

There will be a number of training days before the launch of the group on Friday, December 2.

Macmillan Volunteer Support has extended a huge thank you to the Market House for their support, and in particular development officer and centre manager of the Market House Jeanne Sibley.

Jeanne is pictured second right on the front row with volunteers Steve, Wendy, Irene and Yvonne; and on the back row (from left) Carol, Edna, Anne, Louise, Jenny, Linda, David and Sue.
