Cycling proficiency course could come to an end

Young cyclists were in danger of missing out on vital safety lessons if a popular proficiency course failed to get the volunteers it needed to continue.

Lincolnshire South East School Sport Partnersihp, based at Spalding High School, had run a Bikeability scheme for two years, but the project was under threat due to a lack of instructors.

More than 500 primary school pupils across South Hollnad, Bourne and the Deepings had benefited from the course, which was funded by the Department of Transport.
