Moulton Chapel pupils cook for their schoolmates in 1994

Schoolchildren demonstrated their cooking skills by serving hot and cold meals to their friends.

Every week, Year 5 and 6 pupils at Moulton Chapel County Primary School prepare, cook and serve hot lunches, including spaghetti bolognaise, quiche and vegetarian burgers.

High teacher Geoff Palmer said: "They always enjoy the hot lunches. The whole school is involved in the eating!"

The long-term project is divided into four sections - exercise, healthy eating, smoking and stress.
