Scalextric racing raises Macmillan funds in 2009




A racing charity day in Spalding raised more than £2,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

More than 20 teams of Scalextric racers raised sponsorship ahead of a day of model car racing at Angie's Electric Tracks, in Weston Hills Road.

Members of the Spalding and Holbeach Macmillan committee also held a car boot sale and a raffle to boost the coffers.
