Double big-time bingo wins at Spalding hall in 1994

By Spalding Reporter

They say lightning never strikes twice, but Lady Luck called twice at the Regent Bingo Club in Westlode Street, Spalding, in a week.

First, Moira Zaki-Fahmy, from Spalding, won £5,784 playing the National Bingo Game, which more than 600 clubs played every evening.

Three evenings later, Steven Amess, from Pinchbeck, won £3,999 in the national game!

It was a welcome treat for the club, which had only recently re-opened in 1994.
