New training centre for Holbeach United junior teams at Pennyhill

Holbeach United announced that its new £750,000 youth training centre would be ready for the 2010/11 season.

Seven pitches and clubhouse were planned for the site of a former nursery in Pennyhill - a short walk from the Tigers clubhouse at Carter's Park.

The project was in conjunction with George Farm Technology and Language College and a new floodlit 3G synthetic turf pitch installed there would also be used by the club.

Holbeach United director of football, Shaun Keeble, said: "It's the future of Holbeach United."
