Hard work transforms Holbeach Hurn village hall in 2009

Villagers in Holbeach Hurn brought their village hall back from the brink of closure.

Holbeach Hurn Village Hall committee secured more than £40,000 of grants to spruce up the building, which is next to St Luke's Church.

The windows were replaced, the doors and beech floor refurbished, new radiators installed and the main hall had a new insulated ceiling with lights and hearing loop put in.
