Pupils at Westmere Primary School, Sutton Bridge, took part in a distinctly eggy fundraiser.

The challenge set involved selecting, decorating and taking care of a hard-boiled egg. The challenge lasted for two weeks whilst students collected £200 sponsorship for the children’s charity Barnardo’s. Each child had to photograph themselves with the egg in as many exciting locations as they could possibly think of.

Lucy Critchlow, the teddy bear winner, is pictured alongside Harriet Withey, Summer Mace and Megan Withey.
