THE Birds pub, Spalding hosted the first Keep Music Live Festival for 2011 on Tulip Parade Saturday.
Boston based band Autumn Storm took to the stage first playing classic rock covers fronted by power vocalist Amy Wilkinson.
The Sound Injectors were next to take to the stage performing their selection of pop covers, fronted by Jaycee Bowman and Katie Blackbourne, adding a lively spark to the event.
Other bands taking part were Kamikaze Hot Shot, Verax and Fake Theater with their own self penned songs that pleased the enthusiastic music fans.
The final band were Remains of the Day, three young talented musicians who performed crowd pleasing songs.
Co-organiser Dean Fitchett said “The Birds put the time and effort in to promote local bands on parade day at the free event and they were rewarded with a large turn out for the parade and music festival that followed”.
