Holiday club at Spalding Baptist Church and charity Holbeach fashion show 25 years ago in 1996
Children enjoyed fun and games during a holiday club at Spalding Baptist Church back in 1996.
The programme consisted of songs, quizzes, drama, Bible stories, crafts, refreshments and plenty more.
Children aged five and above brought a picnic for their lunch on one Thursday, while a barbecue was provided on another.
A treasure hunt generated further excitement, while special events were held for older children.
A challenge to raise £1,000 for breast cancer research was behind a brilliant fashion show 25 years ago.
Sally Smith, of Holbeach, had joined a campaign to raise £15m for the campaign after suffering from the illness herself 13 years prior.
The show managed to raise £260, taking her overall total to £660 at that stage.
Children of all ages modelled clothes from Tinkerbell Children’s Fashions, with casual wear and fancy outfits on show.
