Hair-raising time in Long Sutton

Primary school pupils held a combined wicked hair and non-uniform day as a fun, alternative way of raising money.

All pupils and staff at Long Sutton Primary School took part.

They sprayed their hair every colour of the rainbow, tying it up in pigtails and knots.

Spokeswoman Sue Sullivan said: "We let the children do anything with their hair, including dying it - some of them had beautiful coloured hair!"
