Green clothes and a green lunch were the orders of the day at Gedney Hill Primary School 25 years ago.

Youngsters were learning about how to take care of the environment, and even tucked into some green bread.

While out on a trip, pupils collected a range of wild flowers and plants which they returned to school to be classified.
