Staff at Broadgate Homes’ Abbeygate Moulton Rest Home were treated to doughnuts in celebration of a good outcome in a quality inspection.

The home, with 26 ground floor rooms, was awarded ‘Good’ across all categories in its recent Care Quality Commission inspection.

Manager Donna Bailey gave out the sweet treats after receiving the news.

Donna said: “This excellent news is a reward for all the hard work and effort the team at Abbeygate Moulton put in every day. We like to think we are a happy home where people enjoy living and hopefully this goes some way to proving it.”

Ian Canham, chief executive of the home’s parent company, Broadgate, said: “Donna and her team deserve a lot of praise for the caring, professional way they approach the running of the home at Moulton. The residents and their families all speak well of the home and the staff, and this recognition from CQC only goes to increase the pride everyone to do with Broadgate can have in the service Abbeygate provides to the local community.”
