Easter fun for youngsters on Spalding stage

All the latest at the South Holland Centre in Spalding.

This Easter, CBeebies newest stars and Comedy Club 4 Kids veterans, the Three Half Pints, bring their brand new comedy show The Bad Guys to the South Holland Centre.

The Three Half Pints are Robin Hatcher (Ernie), Richard Franklin (Dick) and Callum Donnelly (Derek), who bonded over a shared love of slapstick comedy while at university back in 2010.

Their love of the genre, alongside their sketch writing skills, led to them being cast as green-faced aliens the Odd Bods in CBeebies’ new show Spot Bots.

In their new touring show The Bad Guys, Derek, Ernie and Dick are really bored of being good.

They think it’s just GOT to be more fun being a baddie.

But being an evil scientist, pirate or cowboy is trickier than they thought.

These bumbling brothers have to learn how to stay out of jail and be real Bad Guys at the same time.

Packed with songs, slapstick and silliness, a Mumsnet reviewer said the show was “great fun for the whole family… the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Now, Spalding audiences can see for themselves when the boys perform The Bad Guys live at the South Holland Centre during the Easter holidays on Saturday, April 8 at 2.30pm.

Show tickets are £8 and £6.50 for under 16s.

For added Easter excitement, the trio will be demonstrating how to ‘pratfall’ and generally clown about convincingly at pre-show Slapstick Comedy workshops.

For an extra £5, the workshop for children aged 5 to 7 runs from 11am to noon; and from 12.30pm to 1.30pm for 8 to 11 year olds.
