Liz was able to call on professional musicians to produce some lively Latin and hip-hop rhythms for Beatsfit.
So far, Liz has taken free sessions to around 18 venues, working with all age ranges and fitness levels.
She has another planned for the dementia group at the WI Hall in Holbeach next Monday (10.30am) and will be at the Curlew Centre at Sutton Bridge in the afternoon (2pm – open to all, just turn up).
Funders in the past included South Holland District Council and the county council. Liz is now seeking further funding to do more sessions in the community and possibly roll it out into schools, where she plans to increase involvement further by helping the children to come up with their own compositions.
