ALBUM REVIEW: Think Nirvana and Rage Against the Machine for sound of these New York punks

TIME AND SPACE – By Turnstile – Out Now

Time and space is the sophomore album by New York , hardcore punk band , Turnstile.

This collection is short, snappy and hits hard with its skilfully crafted instrumentation reminiscent to that of Nirvana, with harsh vocals similar to that of Rage Against The Machine.

This unique combination comes together to create a huge sound.

Time and Space contains a rapid succession of punchy songs (such as some of my favourites on the album, Generator, and High Pressure) to some slightly slower more melodic songs(such as I Don’t Wanna Be Blind), with a few interlude songs to allow the listener to get a well needed break from the energy and massiveness that this band has created,

Over all I thought this album to be very good. Some of the tracks sound slightly similar but they are all fast and exciting enough to not become stale.
