A small collection of strange characters will be acting up in Spalding town centre at the end of August.

Strangeface Theatre Company are bringing Fens folklore to an outdoor stage with its production of Fen Boy in Hall Place on Sunday August 31 at 12pm and 3pm.

The tale of trickster fairy boggart Fen Boy will be told using puppetry and mask theatre as part of Transported, an arts project encouraging more people in South Holland to take up creative and artistic activities.

Artistic director Russell Dean said: “We are thrilled to be back in Lincolnshire working on Fen Boy and the Transported team has been incredibly supportive to us in realising these ideas events across the summer and beyond.”
