Newspaper snappers of the future have been found at Gosberton Primary School after pupils entered a photography competition run by Spalding Rotary Club.

Youngsters were asked to take pictures based on a theme of peace and the competition was won by Maia Dempsey, with Paige Nichols coming second.

Teaching assistant Karen Summerland said: “It was the first year we’d run the competition, witn the help the Rotary Club of Spalding, and the entries were really good.

“The club is hoping to enter the winning entries into its regional competition and we’re hoping more pupils will enter the competition next year.”
