Bakkavor celebrated its 30th birthday last weekend with a fun-packed two days for all the family – but especially for all their employees.

During the day at Springfields there was fun to be had with the dunking tank and employees had a great time dunking their bosses into a tank of very cold water!

A breaking record was achieved by Bakkavor for welly-wanging and they’re waiting for confirmation of the record in the Guinness Book of World Records.

‘Bakkavor’s Got Talent’ final featured 12 amazing acts from major factories from Spalding to London.

Well done to break-dancing Daniel Rutkowski from Weston Super Mare who walked away with a cheque for £1,000. Bakkavor are already taking acts for next year!

Huge crowds gathered at Party in the Park to hear funny Ali Jay entertain and introduce the musical acts, including the Take That tribute band who ended the evening with “Rule the World” and a wonderful firework display which lit up the evening sky.

Sunday was another scorcher with everyone having fun on Roger Tuby’s Fun Fair all day. Many people said what a great weekend it was.

On behalf of Tulip Radio, we wish Bakkavor a happy 30th birthday and thank them for supporting Tulip Radio over the years.
