Pinchbeck Community Hub and Library is marking an extension to opening hours by holding a community day on Saturday.

The volunteer-run library in Knight Street, which was officially re-opened in December, is introducing a series of themes activities when it opens every first Saturday of the month between 10am and 1pm.

They start this Saturday when Lincolnshire Police’s mobile unit and PCSO Sally Pusey will be holding a property marking day for people to bring any items they wish to have marked with their postcode.

In addition, there will be a table top sale and to book a table, call 01775 724348 or o1775 723838.

Meanwhile, the group of villagers now running the library have also confirmed that opening hours on Wednesday afternoons have been extended by an hour to 5pm.
