The Olympic spirit is burning brightly at The Priory School, Spalding, after a visit from a British athlete destined for success in winter sports. Paralympian sledge hockey player Mark Briggs joined disabled artist Jason Wilsher-Mills for a special arts and sports day at the school called Driving Inspiration which aim to raise awareness of the Paralympic movement. Art teacher Georgina Freeman said: “We were lucky enough to be chosen to host an activity day for the Driving Inspiration initiative which should produce some ideas for cultural celebrations in the UK marking the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia.”
