Gedney Hill Memorial Hall rocked on Saturday night when charity fundraisers turned into music legends for the Sue Ryder charity.

A Legends of Music party, organised by villager Pauline Moore, included a raffle, disco and dance competition.

The competition was won by Mandy Parkins and Nigel Stoulger.

Raffle prizes were donated by businesses from Gedney Hill and Spalding to raise more money for the chosen charity, Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough.

Overall, the party raised £400 for Thorpe Hall Hospice and Pauline said: “I feel passionate about the charity and it was my favourite choice.”

Last year, Pauline organised a 1970s fancy dress night at Gedney Hill Memorial Hall that raised more than £570 that was shared equally between Help for Heroes and Sue Ryder.
