Charities, community groups and businesses from the Deepings went back to school for a thank-you buffet hosted by students and staff.

The Deepings School welcomed more than 70 guests to its annual community buffet to celebrate their joint working throughout 2014.

Headteacher Richard Trow and chairman of governors Jonathan Theobald invited supporters of the school to enjoy a buffet and refreshments provided by the catering team.

Linda Taylor, the school’s careers and events manager, said: “We were very pleased that so many of our colleagues could take the time to join us for a pre-Christmas celebration at this busy time of the year.

“We have excellent working relationships with many organisations and this event provided an ideal opportunity for us to come together and show our appreciation.”
