A Cowbit beauty queen is far from disappointed at missing out on the chance of a dream trip to Disneyland Paris next April.
Alexandra Mount (19) missed out on the Face of the Globe North England 2015 title and a chance to compete for the overall crown in the French capital next year at a contest in Scarborough on Halloween night.
But the ex-Spalding High School student did have the consolation on Saturday of being voted Miss Congeniality by her friendly rivals.
In a message on social media website Facebook, Alexandra said: “It was such a lovely night, I met some wonderful people and some truly beautiful girls.
“Honestly, it felt amazing when they voted me Miss Congeniality and I hope to see them all again soon.”
Alexandra’s modelling career started about two years ago when she entered for both Miss Peterborough and Miss Cambridgeshire after a successful photoshoot.

“I was awarded the title of Miss Lincolnshire GB in August and went on to be a finalist at the Miss Great Britain pageant in Leicester when 50 girls competed for the ultimate crown,” Alexandra said.
“Although I didn’t win, I’ve been busy wuth appearances, events and charity work.”
Alexandra, an ex-pupil at Moulton Chapel Primary School, also made a guest appearance at the Springfields Outlet Shopping Christmas lights switch-on last Thursday alongside reality TV star Jake Quickenden.
“People get the wrong idea about pageant girls and think that they are all vain and will doo anything to get ahead,” Alexandra said.
“But that’s not the case and I’m yet to meet a girl who hasn’t got an incredible personality and doesn’t want every other girl to do well.”
