A Sutton Bridge hair salon run by friends with a combined age of just 40 has doubled in manpower just six months after its opening.

Two new staff members, beautician Georgia King (17) and hairdresser Emily Robinson (21), have joined the team at Bella Capelli on High Street which opened on Good Friday this year.

The pair work with salon owner Megan Burton (21) and Harriet King (19), Georgia’s sister, to offer hair and beauty treatments such as cutting, colouring, perms, waxing and facials.

Megan said: “Georgia joined us on September 19 after finishing a course at the College of West Anglia, King’s Lynn, in July and Emily has come to us from a salon in King’s Lynn after moving away from that area.

“It’s always been the long-term plan to expand and keep up with the latest trends, so I’m very pleased with how the salon has developed.”

To celebrate their arrival as part-time staff, working Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, clients can have a cut and blow dry from Emily at half price until October 15, while Georgia has an introductory offer on gel nails.

Megan said: “We want people to come and look at our range of services for ladies, gents and children, meet our new girls and have an enjoyable experience at our salon.”
