People with a love of book and creativity were brought together by community arts project Transported for a workshop at Spalding library.

Artists Carole Miles and Phiona Richards, known as The Eloquent Fold, hosted A Small Library of Big Ideas workshop where participants used a range of different techniques to create pages and books full of their own big “ideas”.

The free papercraft workshop was a follow-up to the artists’ A Flock of Words project last summer and people can look at the completed “books” in the library, with a chance to add their own ideas to the collection.

Phiona said: “We were delighted to be back in Lincolnshire for our third year and remain very keen to continue building our relationship with the area and the community.

“We have a deep love of books and see them as a doorway to knowledge, an escape to adventure and a pathway to new horizons.”
