Crowland Abbey’s annual flower festival will have a theatrical feel this year with help from the Transported arts project.

Rhubarb Theatre is bringing its production of The Case of the Curious Suitcase to entertain families between 11am and 2.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

The drama takes place in a rural train station where three characters arrive separately, waiting for the last train to come in.

But when a series of strange events take place after the characters’ suitcases get muddled, the audience is invited to become detectives to figure out who the passengers may be and what they are really up to.

Crowland Abbey is also hosting a film about the town made by Steve Hatton from Electric Egg Productions of Lincoln called the Crowland Abbey Glass Window Project.

It features a digital glass window inspired by the abbey and people of Crowland.
