The search is on for volunteers across South Holland to take part in an artistic and cultural extravaganza in October.
Night of Festivals is a carnival-like weekend featuring street dancers, musicians, face painting, story telling and digital art.
It represents the biggest event yet in the two-year Transported arts programme which aims to get more people in South Holland and Boston involved in arts activities.
The festival takes place in Boston on October 12 and 13 but organisers are keen for South Holland residents to sign up and be part of the action.
A Transported spokeswoman said: “Night of Festivals will give people from both South Holland and Boston the chance to take part in a huge weekend for the area.
“There really is something for everyone, from professional artists and musicians to members of the community who just want to have a go and be part of the carnival.
“But the best thing is that although participants will be working closely with highly reputable companies in preparation for the event, it’s totally free for those who live in the area and a unique opportunity to be part of something vibrant, colourful and awe-inspiring.”
Workshops for performers and dancers are taking palce at the Assembly Rooms, Boston, on September 28 and 29, then again on October 5 and 6.
Masterclasses for musicians are on September 22, 29 and October 2 in Boston, while people wanting to learn face painting and body adornment can attend masterclasses at Blackfriars Arts Centre, Boston, on October 5.
