Traveller sites confirmed
Calls to reconsider the traveller sites earmarked for Sutton Bridge and Holbeach have been rejected by South Holland District Council cabinet members.
Gypsies: We will fight all the way
Travellers on an illegal site at Holbeach have vowed to fight plans to relocate them tooth and nail – all the way to the European courts.
Go quietly – or we'll get tough
Council leader Gary Porter says he hopes travellers on the South Holland's illegal sites will move on peacefully – but that the council will use force to get them to move if necessary.
Pros and cons for three chosen sites
Sites in Spalding, Holbeach and Sutton Bridge were chosen for gypsy and traveller camps by councillors during a special cabinet meeting last week.
