HOLBEACH UTD 1

SHAUN Keeble couldn't hide his frustration after seeing the Tigers hit the self-destruct button at Sergeants Lawn.

Craig Parker's first-half strike looked to have secured all three points for Holbeach on Saturday, but a clanger fr
om keeper James Doughty was the catalyst for a late collapse.

The stopper made a hash of routine save to allow Kevin Fox a leveller, before Bobby Drain hammered home a last-gasp sucker punch for lowly Rothwell.

Player/boss Keeble said: "It's hard to believe that we lost to such a poor side.

"We were dominant in the first half and I could see no way back for them.

"But James (Doughty) has made a bad mistake and we have dropped down to their level collectively."

Looking comfortable after Parker's sixth goal of the season, the Tigers had their chances to wrap it up.

Jason Sedlan crashed an effort of the bar, before Ben Crane drilled wide after a solo run.

But a second defeat on the bounce sees Keeble's side drop to seventh in the standings.

Tigers: Doughty, Allen, Fairweather, Elston, Brooks, Parker, J Sedlan, Maltby, Sutton (Keeble), Nimmo, Crane. Not used: Horsewood, Barnes.
