IRCHESTER UNITED 0 HOLBEACH UNITED 1: Tiny Northamptonshire village Irchester played host to a massive Holbeach title party on Saturday as the champions received their trophy.

It was a case of ‘after the Lord Mayor’s Show’ for UCL Premier Division champions Holbeach United as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat at St Ives Town on Tuesday night.

FOOTBALL: Five-star Tulips win, Saints march past Tigers, Deeping lose semi

Spalding United reignited their promotion push with a 5-1 UCL Premier Division victory over Cogenhoe United on Tuesday night, while champions Holbeach United lost 2-0 at St Ives Town and Deeping Rangers were beaten 1-0 by Yaxley in the semi-final of the Hinchingbrooke Cup.
