Champions New Saracen’s Head toasted their impressive double as the Sutton Bridge RBL Winter Domino League came to a close.

Having clinched the league crown by four points, Saracen’s added the Supreme Cup after a dramatic play-off with Football Club A.

The double winners collected their gongs at the league’s presentation night at the Rose and Crown – but they weren’t the only ones adding a silver lining to their season.

League runners-up Black Bull collected their consolation prize following a strong campaign, while Football Club A got their hands on the League Cup. Unfortnately for Black Bull, they were also the runners-up in that competition too.

The league’s top individual honour went to Football Club A’s star man Adam Kirk, who lifted the Singles title after seeing off S Brown from Football Club B.

Successful Football Club A skipper Nick Ingram delivered another trophy for his side in the Captain’s Cup.

He had just too much for Rose and Crown’s M Birchall.

Crafty combination Brenda Munson and Mary Baldwin (Horse and Groom) were the Pairs winners after a victory over M Stevenson and T Roberts (Rose and Crown).

The least coverted award, The Wooden Spoon, went to Long Sutton RBL after they finished rock bottom.
