Market Rasen & Louth v Spalding RFC (Saturday, 3pm): “SAME again lads,” is the verdict from Town skipper Harry Sharman ahead of this grudge match.

Promoted Rasen and Louth are next in Spalding’s sights after they registered an impressive maiden Midlands One East win of the season over Leighton Buzzard last weekend.

Having clashed many times in the county cup over recent seasons, Sharman expects Saturday’s game to be a cracker.

He said: “We’ve had quite a bit of success against them in the past and it’s a game the lads look forward to.

“We enjoyed a decent win on Saturday and hopefully we’ll carry that into this weekend. I thought our forwards led by example last weekend and couldn’t fault them at all.”

Town are without Dave Hankinson for the Lincs derby, but Jim Williams should step in at number ten. Sion Williams is also set to return.
